After 44 years of being the premier bowling destination in Hammond, Stardust Bowl I has closed its doors. The center closed permanently on Saturday, May 17th at midnight. The decision to close the center was a very difficult one for the owners to make. Unfortunately, due to a struggling economy it was necessary to cease operations of the center at the end of the 2007-08 bowling season.
We would like to thank the hundreds of employees that we have employed over the last four decades for all of their hard work and dedication that they have displayed. We would also like to thank all of our customers for their patronage.
Thanks again to the people of the City of Hammond and the surrounding communities. We wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors.
