KING OF THE HILL MINI-SERIES TOURNAMENTS

The King of the Hill Mini-Series gives you a chance to win CASH & bragging rights, an Entry into the Post-Tribune Tournament, and if you're a Stardust Bowl III Fall League Bowler, you will win a 1/2 price entry & a BYE in the 1st Round of the Bowler of the Year Tournament in May.  Multiple spots paid out weekly depending on the number of entries.  There will also be a Series Ending Prize Fund based on our ranking system that consists of number of games bowled.  Every Bowler is also entered for FREE in the High Game Pot for the 2 game qualifier.  As for the Format, you will bowl a 2 Game Qualifier.  During practice, you can go on any of the lanes being used.  When Practice is over we will Draw for starting lanes.  The Top 2/3 Scratch Scores move on, the bottom 1/3 are out.  The Top 2/3 will then bowl in 1 on 1 match play.  They will them be seeded into a Bracket.  If you win you move on, you lose your out.  We will have different oil patterns out each week. Majority of them are the Kegel Sport Shots with at least 1 week on the ever scoreable, close your eyes house shot.

  • Open to Men and Women Adult Bowlers 18 Years of Age or Older
  • 2 Game Qualifier. The Top 2/3 move on to 1 on 1 Match Play in a Seeded Bracket, Bottom 1/3 field is out.
  • (Normally it's the Top 28 with the Top 4 getting a bye in the 1st Round of Match Play)
  • Friday's around 10:30pm - 10:45pm after league
  • Lanes WILL be Oiled before we start.
  • Bowl on Different Oil Patterns and on the House Shot in the Mini-Series. (See Schedule Below)
  • Rotate a pair to the RIGHT after the 1st Qualifier Game.
  • Entry Fee $25.00 ($13.50 Weekly Prize Fund, $4 Qualifier Games Pot, $1 Series Prize Fund, $6.50 Bowling Fee)
  • FREE Entry to the 2 Game Qualifier Pot. Pays multiple spots each game depending on number of entries
  • Mini-Series Ending Bonus Prize Money will be awarded by the total amount of games bowled in the mini-series.  Winners will get 1 Extra Bonus Point.  You could also look at it as 2 points per week bowled and 1 point for each game you make match play and 1 extra for winning. We had 266 total Bowlers in Fall 2009 Mini-Series and we paid the Top 5. See under the weekly payout for the Series Ending Prize List.
